What’s Covered?
- Reimbursement of the horse’s market value in the event of death (mandatory necropsy required)
- Theft: Reimbursement if the horse is stolen and not recovered within 90 days.
- Surgical Costs: Covers emergency surgery and 50% of after-care (15 days max).
- Extras:
- Regional coverage flexibility
- Right of recovery from third parties
What’s Not Covered?
- Intentional Slaughter
- Deaths due to war, nuclear events, or government quarantine orders.
- Pre-existing conditions not disclosed at policy inception.
- Losses from racing in "claiming races" below the insured value.
