We are pleased to provide you with your Boubyan Travel Takaful Plan (hereon referred as Travel Plan or Plan) which provides protection against unforeseen events and other perils. Its prime purpose is to indemnify you in the event you sustain any bodily injury caused by an accident, emergency dental expenses, loss of baggage, Baggage Delay, flight delay and cancellation and curtailment as listed in the table of benefits. In return for your contribution to the Takaful Fund, you will receive Takaful Protection as stated in the Takaful Certificate subject to the terms, conditions, warranties, provision and exclusion expressed or implied in the Plan.
How to apply to claim
- Contact Boubyan Takaful insurance company on WhatsApp on 1825582
- Appropriate claim form to be filled
- Copy of travel insurance policy
- Following documents are compulsory required at the time of making an Insurance claim procedure.
Medical Expenses Accident And Sickness
- Claim form to be filled.
- Boubyan Travel Policy.
- Detailed medical report. Original
- Detailed medical receipts stating receipt date and treatment type. Original
- Copy of Flight tickets Inbound/Outbound.
- Passport copy, visa, exit and entry stamps into the State of Kuwait.
- Civil ID Copy front and back side.
Baggage Delay For A Period In Excess Of (6) Hours
- Claim form to be filled.
- Property Irregularity report /Baggage Delay certificate from airline. Original
- Copy of receipt when you receive your baggage back.
- Itemized listing of all emergency purchases made with supporting bills. Original
- Copy of Flight tickets.
- Passport copy, visa, exit and entry stamps into the State of Kuwait.
- Civil ID Copy front and back side.
Baggage Loss For A Period In Excess Of (6) Hours
- Claim form to be filled.
- Baggage Lost Certificate from Airline. Original
- Detailed description of items lost in suitcase with price. (Supporting original bills if available)
- Original purchase receipts for essential purchases done during the loss period.
- Copy of Flight tickets.
- Passport copy, visa, exit and entry stamps into the State of Kuwait.
- Civil ID Copy front and back side.
- Flight Delay/ Flight Cancellation For A Period In Excess Of (6) Hours
- Claim form to be filled.
- Written confirmation from airlines or their agent for Flight Delay/Cancellation stating the reason for Flight Delay/ Flight cancellation.
- Due to flight cancellation, have you received any refund/ Voucher?
- Receipts Incurred. (Due to Flight Delay/ Flight Cancellation Original )
- Copy of Flight tickets.
- Passport copy, visa, exit and entry stamps into the State of Kuwait.
- Civil ID Copy front and back side.
Trip Cancellation & Curtailment Abroad
- Claim form to be filled.
- Cancelled: If for medical reason- completed medical certificate or is only announced, after a covered trip is booked or the insured is effected, whichever the later. If other reason, please provide full explanation and documentary evidence. Original
- Curtailment: If due to illness or accident abroad, a letter is required from the consulting doctor confirming that it was necessary to return home. Original
- Receipts Incurred. (Due to Flight Delay/ Flight Cancellation Original)
- Receipts for all amount claimed. Original
- Copy of Flight tickets Inbound/Outbound.
- Civil ID Copy front and back side.
- Passport copy, visa, exit and entry stamps into the State of Kuwait.
